Affiliate Disclosure

How We Earn Revenue
HostBeacons is a free resource. To keep it that way, we participate in affiliate programs offered by web hosting companies. This means:
- When you click certain links on our site and purchase a hosting plan, we receive a small referral commission
- You pay the same price as you would visiting the provider directly — often with exclusive discounts available only through our links
- This commission is paid by the hosting provider, not by you
What This Means for Our Content
We want to be completely transparent:
- Rankings are editorial decisions. No hosting company can pay for a higher position in our lists or a better review score.
- We review non-affiliate providers too. If a hosting provider offers great value, we'll recommend them regardless of whether we earn a commission.
- Negative findings are published. If a provider has significant drawbacks, we report them — even if we have an affiliate relationship with that provider.
- We disclose affiliate links. Articles containing affiliate links include a disclosure notice.
Affiliate Partners
We currently participate in affiliate programs with the following companies (this list is updated as partnerships change):
- Hosting.com (formerly A2 Hosting)
- InterServer
Not all hosting providers mentioned on our site are affiliate partners. We include non-partner providers in our comparisons to give you a complete market picture.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We believe in full transparency and want our readers to make informed decisions.
